USA TO CUT WALL; BEAL AND MILLSAP?

With just under a month to go before the FIBA World Cup gets underway, the USA will be trimming their squad size down as John Wall, Bradley Beal and Paul Millsap are reported to be the latest cuts.

Per Adrian Wojnarowski on Twitter:

USA Basketball cut Washington’s John Wall, Bradley Beal and Atlanta’s Paul Millsap today, sources told Yahoo Sports.

With a guard-heavy team in place, USA might look to cut another point guard with Damian Lillard and Kyrie Irving battling it out. Kevin Durant, James Harden, Stephen Curry and Derrick Rose are the only standouts that will be promised a spot on the World Cup roster.
