Zalgiris and Benetton targetting Motiejunas

One of the biggest prospects in Europe, Donatas Motiejunas is seriously wanted by Zalgiris and Benetton Treviso. Lithuanian runners-up have publicly declared their interest in 18-year-old center several times. Though it's not so easy to get his signature as Motiejunas has plenty of offers to choose from.

One of potential destinations for Motiejunas could be Italy. Newspaper Kauno Diena reported that the representatives of Benetton Treviso visited Kaunas to talk with the player's parent. No further details were revealed but it is a clear indication of how much Italian club want Motiejunas.

Last season Donatas Motiejunas made his debut in Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL). His first year in elite division was very successful as he was second top scorer in the league with 21.1 points per game in 20 regular season games.
