Viktor KhryapaRussian sports portal championat.ru reports that Russian forward Viktor Khryapa could be heading home. According to Chicago Tribune, Chicago Bulls terminated his contract fully compensating him. Which means that Khryapa is a free agent now and could continue his career in Russia. And what better place to do so than CSKA Moscow? Russian champions have huge gaps in their paint after the injury problems of Matjaz Smodis and Alexey Savrasenko and Khryapa could find himself a lot of playing time.

Khryapa has only played in 9 games for Chicago Bulls this season averaging 3.6 points per game. His most successful season in NBA was in Portland in 2005-2006 season where he played 69 games and averaged 5.8ppg.

In the meantine CSKA suffered a huge loss tonight going down 67:88 against Khimki in the  Russian Cup Final. A loss which could speed up any transfer plans.
