Tragedy for Kambala PDF Print E-mail

ImageKaspars Kambala is going through a personal tragedy after he lost his five-months old daughter last night. Kambala was informed about his daughter's death minutes before the game against Belgacom for Eurochallenge.



Despite the bad news, Kambala didn't let his teammates down and played in the game scoring 19 points. It was only after the game that Kambala let his tears. Kambala is already back in Latvia with his family.

The tragedy occured just days shy of Kambala's 31st birthday.

TalkBasket staff is extending their deepest sympathy to Kambala and his family.

Kaspars Kambala appears to have a stream of bad luck on and off the court. His loss is very sad, he might want to stop pretending to be married to someone he is not, stop fighting, stop drinking and take care of the two sons he has back in the US. Then he might have something positive come of his life.
