Fourteen players remain in the preparation of the Slovenian National Team as Head Coach Jure Zdovc cut Sasha Vujacic and Miha Zupan. The last two players to be left out will be decided after the friendlies against Bulgaria and Greece.Vujacic is facing a problem with his knee and was unable to recover in time to be in Poland. "Vujacic did everything he could to be in Poland, but his injury wouldn't let him. He didn't have time to adopt our playing style. I want to thank him for his effort and I wish him a quick recovery." said coach Zdovc while he also thanked Zupan for his help in the preparation.
