Galatasaray announced the signing of Simas Jasaitis who spent last season with DKV Joventut. 27-year-old small forward travelled a lot during past few years as he represented four different clubs during past four seasons: Lietuvos Rytas, Maccabi Tel Aviv, TAU Ceramica and DKV Joventut.
Jasaitis might not stay for too long in Turkey either after signing one-year-contract with Galatasaray. At the moment he is preparing for Eurobasket 2009 with Lithuanian national team.
Last season Simas Jasaitis averaged 9.3 points per game in Euroleague for Joventut.
