Scariolo: Panathinaikos best team of decade

Sergio Scariolo described his team;s opponents, Panathinaikos, as the best team of the last decade in the press conference prior to tomorrow's game in Moscow.

The full statement made by Scariolo: "Our opponent has been the best European basketball team of the last decade, so we will have to prepare very well and play very hard to compete. The pick-and-roll and inside defense will be important keys, while offensively we must pass the ball accurately and reduce turnovers to be effective."

Former Panathinaikos and a leader of Khimki, Robertas Javtokas, stated: "We didn’t forget the awful defeat we suffered in Athens. We burn with the desire to show by this game that the loss in Greece was a pure accident. We would like to show our best, supported by our great fans. Now we feel one another well enough and show mature basketball. Though we have some ups and downs during the game, but each game we have more experience and such drops should happen rarer."
