Roberts signed for Red Star

Red Star signed a one-year contract with Lawrence Roberts, american power-forward who played for Memphis Grizzlies from 2005. till 2007. Roberts is 26 years old and is a graduate of the Mississippi State university. Last year he signed for Olympiacos, but was waived by coach Pini Gershon in the begining of October already.

Roberts will arive to Belgrade on Wednesday. Red Star is travelling to France on thursday to continue preperations for the upcoming season. New coach Svetislav Pesic accepted the invitation from his former club Lottomatica Roma to play two friendly matches, the dates will be anounced soon.
