After many rumors about the 2 players withdrawing their eligibility in the upcoming NBA Draft it seems that they will be participating after all. Rubio is already in the United Stated to get to know the teams interested in him.

He hopes to be selected at the first 3 positions (though he's been projected even at #5 lately) with the number 1 pick going almost certainly to big man Blake Griffin. He will then decide whether he wants to make the jump or stay one more year with his current club Joventut.

Victor Claver on the other hand decided to make himself eligible even if he's projected to be selected in the 2nd round right now. He will most likely stay in Europe and try to get a spot in the NBA later in his career where he can negotiate his contract freely having not been picked in the 1st round.
