In the 182th edition of the "eternal Belgrade derby" Red Star stunned Partizan fans and won by one point margin - 81:80. Red&whites coach Svetislav Pesic was ejected in the 27th minute, but his team from that point made a 20-3 run and turned Partizan 62:52 lead into 72:65 advantage. Player of the game was Red Star center and Bosnian NT member Elmedin Kikanovic who scored 22 points.

Milenko Tepic missed a shot in the final second after tho missed free-throws of Tadija Dragicevic. Red Star won after seven consecutive losses against Partizan and now holds the first position in the Adriatic league after eight rounds.
