    Image Union Olimpija today announced that they parted ways with back-up point guard Maurice Bailey (183 cm, 1981). He signed 2-year deal before previous season but wasn't happy with his role. Olimpija already bringed Jonathan Wallace (188 cm, 1986) for his spot few days ago so Bailey's departure was expected. Where he'll play next season isn't known yet.

Partizan leads 1-0 in the finals PDF Print E-mail

PartizanPartizan overcame Hemofarm in the first match of the serbian play-off finals (68:54), on it`s chase for the seventh consecutive champions title. Second game of the best of five series will be played on saturday in Vrsac.  Black&whites struggled until the final period, with Vukoicic team playing superb defense, limiting Nikola Pekovic to just 4 points in the first 30 minutes.

Then Tepic and Velickovic took over, making a  8:0 run which sealed the win for Partizan. Milenko Tepic was the man of the match with 18 points, Velickovic added 16 and 12 rebounds, while Nebojsa Joksimovic scored 15 for Hemofarm.

Partizan coach Dusko Vujosevic complained about the refereeing after the match and predicted a hard series.
