At the last moment, literally, Partizan managed to cover their power forward position by signing Lawrence Roberts, who had impressed last season playing for their arch rivals, Red Star.Roberts came to Europe two seasons ago for Olympiacos but their coach Pini Gershon eventually decided to release him on free because he was not satisfied with his performance. It was then Red Star who signed him and his statistics were impressive in all the competitions he took part.
The contract Roberts signed will expire next summer.
