In a shock move PAOK Thessaloniki landed Greek international center Lazaros Papadopoulos who was recently released by Real Madrid and was a free agent.According to the club's announcement Lazaros Papadopoulos signed a contract until the end of the current season and will be practically playing for free as he will be donating his salary to children and wheelchair basketball players charities.
Papadopoulos will also organise a friendly game in the beginning of May between PAOK and a Euroleague club and all gate receipts will be again given to children and wheelchair basketball players charities.
