It looks like PAOK is aiming high for the upcoming season offering some local competition to arch-rivals Aris proceding to transfers of key players.After acquiring the services of Soulis Markopoulos, one of the top coaches in Greece that led Maroussi to third place last season, and players like Helliwell, Tapoutos and Kalaitzidis, PAOK is now really close to sign Giannis Kalambokis who is currently taking part in the preparation of the Greek National Team.
The 31-year old is reported to agree for about 150.000 per season. Kalambokis averaged 7.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists in last year's edition of the Euroleague with Panionios.
Meanwhile, Predrag Drobnjak is reported to have already agreed terms with the club from Thessaloniki and he is expected to sign his contract within the next days.
