After having lost Zach Wright to Le Mans, Panionios turned elsewhere and came to an agreement with the US-guard Tyrese Rice for the season 2009-2010.Rice is 22 years old, fresh out of college and being 185cm tall he plays as a point-guard. Last season he averaged 16.9 points, 5.3 assists and 3.8 rebounds in his final year with Boston College in the NCAA.
