One game remains for this year's Euroleague competitors to be set with Maroussi and Orleans having the advantage as they beat Alba Berlin and Benetton Treviso respectively, for leg 1 of the second qualifying round.
Both teams go a 9-point advantage for the second leg, with Orleans being closer to Euroleague participation as they beat Benetton in Italy behind 22 points of Cedrick Banks and 18 of Justin Doellman. The Greeks turned the game around in the third quarter, after being down by 8 at halftime, when they outscored the Germans with 28-13 to get a 7-point lead which they kept to the end.
