Lietuvos Rytas center Marijonas Petravicius is close to agreeing terms with Asvel Lyon-Villeurbanne, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. Petravicius will not be playing for Rytas next season as his contract demans are too high for the club to keep the player.

Two Italian clubs are also seriously interested in securing services of Lithuanian center for next season. They are Benetton Treviso and Armani Jeans Milano. Benetton is also interested in Rytas head coach Rimas Kurtinaitis.

Marijonas Petravicius averaged 12.9 points and 6.1 rebounds per game in Eurocup this season helping his team lift the trophy. He was also named the MVP of Final as he had 20 points and 7 rebounds.
