    Image Union Olimpija today announced that they parted ways with back-up point guard Maurice Bailey (183 cm, 1981). He signed 2-year deal before previous season but wasn't happy with his role. Olimpija already bringed Jonathan Wallace (188 cm, 1986) for his spot few days ago so Bailey's departure was expected. Where he'll play next season isn't known yet.

Juan Carlos NavarroSpanish media reports that Juan Carlos Navarro is returning to Europe to play for his former club Barcelona. Despite being among the second five best rookies in NBA, Navarro decided not to continue his NBA career. He signed 5-year contract with Spanish giants which is rumoured to be worth at least 10M Euros.

Juan Carlos Navarro averaged 10.9 points per game in his debut season in NBA. During his Barca career, Navarro won Euroleague in 2003.

Too much money even for a mega-player like Navarro. Barca seems to be inadequate to understand the transfer value of players in general...They continue the tranfer-reasoning of their previous General Manager Savic, who bought and paid players twice their real value(e.g. Acker)...

So when is the Euroleague going to wise up and realize they have the money and the ability to go out and get a USA NBA Star? Gilbert Arenas anyone?
