2008-07-29 21:50
Rashon ClarkHapoel Jerusalem, Israel cup holder, signed Rashon Clark (1.98, 24) and agreed terms with Chris Burgess (29, 2.09). Clark played in Iowa state in the last 3 season and grabbed 8.6 points ang 6 rebounds. He is considered as a good defender and rebounder, with some lack in the offensive skill.

Burgess played in Beykoz, in the Turkish Basketball League and despite the fact that his team was relegated, he scored 16 points with 9 rebounds per game.

Jerusalem, with a small budget this season, will try to find another guard to complete the roster.

Go Hapoel! Too good signings, considering our minimal budget.

Euroleague Euroleague quarter-finals are set (video) Top eight teams in Europe have less than two weeks to prepare for the most important battles this season so far. There were only two play-off spots to be taken in the last game of the Top 16 with five teams having the chance to move to the next round. Serbian giants Partizan will be fighting for a place in the Final Four once again despite losing away at Barcelona. Panathinaikos won by three points against another Greek club Maroussi and this result opened the door for Partizan.
