Joseph Gomis of Unicaja Malaga will have to undergo surgery to fix a problem in the achilles tendon of the left foot. The French player will be sidelined for as much as five months instead of two or three that were initially estimated. Unicaja is already looking for a replacement that could be an American as the club only has Taquan Dean under contract having a spot free.
