European basketball legend, coach Panagiotis Giannakis expressed his respect to Partizan for what they have done for basketball all these years, talking prior to the game between the two teams.Coach Giannakis full statement: “We know that Partizan has great motivation and they will try to push us and not allow us to play the way we want. Like always, the key point is to play with concentration and to keep our game at a high standard. Partizan is a big club, with an outstanding basketball tradition and deserves our respect for everything they have done and are still doing in European basketball.”
Milos Teodosic, a Serbian itnernational also spoke about respect: “We will play against a team that fights and never quits. Partizan is a respectful team that lacks experience, but they have enthusiasm and they always play to win. The atmosphere will be very hot, but this is not negative for us. We have learned to play good in front of enthusiastic crowds and we like it.”
