Union Olimpija today announced that they parted ways with back-up point guard Maurice Bailey (183 cm, 1981). He signed 2-year deal before previous season but wasn't happy with his role. Olimpija already bringed Jonathan Wallace (188 cm, 1986) for his spot few days ago so Bailey's departure was expected. Where he'll play next season isn't known yet.

Lietuvos Rytas had to overcome a sleepy start beign dow by 17 points as Cibona had the highest advantage in the game. Aleksandar Trifunovic changed his team attitude during the half time. Rytas slowly came closer and eventually won the game to take the 1st place in Group B as well as securing place in the 1st pot in Top 16 draw alongside Panathinaikos, CSKA Moscow and Real Madrid. Both Greek clubs lost after overtime - defending champs Panathinaikos against Real Madrid while Aris couldn't resist to Maccabi.
