ImageAlta Gestion Fuenlabrada announced the signing of the Latvian rising star Kaspars Berzins. The player will be wearing the Fuenlabrada jersey for the next 3 years.

Berzins is 23-years old and 213cm tall. He averaged 10 points and 5 rebounds in last season's edition of the Eurocup with Barons Riga. He also had 10.2 points and 7.1 rebounds in the Baltic League, while his numbers were even better in the Latvian League where he had 14 points and 6 rebounds. He also gained Defender of the Year honours for the Latvian League and was part of the Best Lineup and leader in blocks in Latvia.
