2008-08-20 09:38
LithuaniaChina failed to pull out a surprise against one the world's powerhouses Lithuania. Despite giving a tough game for the Lithuanians in the first half, Chinese couldn't hold for the whole game.

It was a great defense that brought a win to the Baltic giants. Lithuania took 12 steal against 3 of China. Ming Yao was guarded very well by both Robertas Javtokas and Marijonas Petravicius. And although Chinese NBA star had 19 points most of them came in the second half as he made 11/13 free-throws.

Lithuanians were great from the long range. They hit 13 three-pointers during the game while China responded with only 4 shots from beyond the arc.

A comfortable win for Lithuania 94:68 (19:17, 22:13, 29:23, 24:15).
