 Although many European clubs showed great interest in Red Star captain, Tadija Dragicevic will probably stay in the Belgrade club. His contract expires in 2010.
Efes Pilsen, Lottomatica and Dynamo Moscow led the race for Dragicevic, but the asking price, varying from 700 to 850 thousand euros drove them away.
"Tadija will probably stay in Red Star. Efes Pilsen and Lottomatica don't have enough money to pay the compensation, Russian clubs do but Dragicevic is not interested because his ambition is to play in Euroleague", explained Miodrag Raznatovic, manager of Tadija Dragicevic.
Skillful power forward will soon join the preperations of the Serbia NT for the qualifications for the European championship in Poland 2009.
