    Image Union Olimpija today announced that they parted ways with back-up point guard Maurice Bailey (183 cm, 1981). He signed 2-year deal before previous season but wasn't happy with his role. Olimpija already bringed Jonathan Wallace (188 cm, 1986) for his spot few days ago so Bailey's departure was expected. Where he'll play next season isn't known yet.

EuroleagueCSKA Moscow had no troubles in Italy as they destroyed Lottomatica. Russian champs had the lead 28-10 after the 1st quarter and never looked back. They won all four quarters to reach the 3rd win in four games. A win next week would secure CSKA a place in quarter finals. Lottomatica was totally different from the team that lost in Moscow last second.

Žalgiris couldn't stop Real Madrid in Kaunas Sports Hall and suffered their third loss. The first quarter promised a close game as it ended 14-14. Real Madrid were more successive in offence in the 2nd. The score was 30-44 for Spanish and ULEB Cup champions. In the second half every effort from Žalgiris to come closer was stopped by Real Madrid. That was only the 2nd loss for Žalgiris at home in 9 Euroleague games this season.
