ImageBarcelona has officially extended their contract with the Spanish head coach Xavi Pascual until 2011. This comes as a reward for the excellent job Pascual has been producing since he was promoted to head coach position, after being Dusko Ivanovic' assistant  before Ivanovic got sacked.


Last season, in his first full-year as head-coach Pascual led Barcelona to Euroleague Final Four and of course the title of ACB. For his achievement he was voted coach of the year in Spain, last season. He also won the SuperCup this year.
