PAOK made it known to William Avery and his agent that he is no longer needed by the team and are now looking for a new foreign point guard.

PAOK's coach Soulis Markopoulos had been thinking of replacing Avery for weeks bude decided to give him more chances to prove him. Nevertheless the defeat against Kavala away and the club's poor record in the Greek A1 so far (1-4) made him to look in the market for a replacement.
