Red Star signed a one year contract with American combo-guard Andre Owens, 27 year old graduate of Indiana university. He spent last season with Indiana Pacers, previously he started his NBA career in Utah Jazz. On sunday Owens will join his new teammates on mountain Kopaonik where Red Star is currently training under the supervision of the new coach Svetislav Pesic.

Roumors say that red&whites are still keen on signing experienced power forward Gregor Fucka. Former Italian NT member would like to work with Pesic again after Barcelona and Lottomatica, but he also has offers from Palacanestro teams.
