Adriatic League officially recognised by FIBA Europe!

After many years of existence the Adriatic League has been officially recognised by FIBA Europe.

The following statement was released by the Adriatic League:

The NLB League is proud to announce that since November 15th 2009 we are also officially recognised by the second important European organization, FIBA Europe.

The official notice, which we received on Wednesday, closed the circle of our hard work and endeavor to become an equal and totally recognised organisation by all parties on the European scene and was also a logical step forward after we were recognised by ULEB at the beginning of this decade.

“This is to inform you that at the meeting of 15th November 2009 in Munich, the Board of FIBA Europe decided to officially recognise the ABA League. We are looking forward to working closely together for the benefit of European Basketball.” was written in the official statement signed by FIBA Europe Secretary General Nar Zanolin.
