Latest signing of Partizan is Zarko Rakocevic (24 years, 204 cm), Montenegrian center who made his craft playing for Buducnost Podgorica. He is capable of playing both center and power-forward positions and he will be a valuable adding to the frontcourt after the departure of Nikola Pekovic and Dejan Borovnjak.

Union Olimpija today announced that they parted ways with back-up point guard Maurice Bailey (183 cm, 1981). He signed 2-year deal before previous season but wasn't happy with his role. Olimpija already bringed Jonathan Wallace (188 cm, 1986) for his spot few days ago so Bailey's departure was expected. Where he'll play next season isn't known yet.

The newcomer to the Premierleague in Israel, Elitzur Kiryat-Ata has just made their first major signing of the summer. Brandon McKnight (PG, 25, 1.88) signed 1 year contract with the north team, after  agreat seasen in Solana last year, as he scored 22.4 points, picked 5.1 rebounds and gave 5.1 assists in the team that reached the Championship in Sweden.

Aito has announced he will not remain as Spanish National Head Coach, His future is in Unicaja, where he can work for a long project, as he wants. Meanwhile, Carlos Jimenez told their mates that he quits the National Team.

Lithuania will have to look for another team captain. Ramunas Siskauskas announced his retirement from the national team. 29-year-old small forward was named Euroleague MVP last season. Siskauskas is considered as the best player in the world outside NBA after his recent achievements.

Turkish powerhouse Efes Pilsen strengthened their roster with an another Besiktas Cola Turka player, Preston Shumpert (1.98, 1979, SF). Experienced forward had a great season in Turkey and averaged 17.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.8 steals in the ULEB Cup.

The newcommers to the Israeli PL, Maccabi Haifa, signed PG, Doron Perkins, who was the MVP of the Belgium League last season in Bree. Perkins (25, 1.88) grabed 15.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game and helped Bree to reach the final in the league. Perkins had some offers from teams around Europe, including from "Lega A" in Italy, but prefered to go to Haifa.

After signing Panagiotis Kaukis and Alexis Kyritsis, P.A.O.K. Thessaloniki announced via their official site that K´Zell Wesson joins the team for the upcoming season. Wesson (31, 2.02) during the summer got the bulgarian passport and was selected by coach Gerson to participate in the trainings of the bulgarian national team.
