No, i don't want to see that, I would like to see them safe, cause they r better then most of the Croation clubs so far. Croatia will loose most this year, probably even a spot in NLB...

After months of starring in Adriatic League action (averaging 18.9 points and 5.8 assists per contest), Cedevita Zagreb 5'11'' "warp-speed" point guard Dontaye Draper has been rumored to become Croatian citizen, which would enable him to become a possible starter for Croatian NT on the upcoming European Championship (August 31st - September 18th).

Draper, who would like to play in the NBA one day, reportedly "really wouldn't mind becoming a part of Croatian NT and would seriously consider such a possibility".

If he really becomes Croatian citizen during the several couple of months both he and Cedevita could enjoy possible future benefits:

a ) Cedevita would have a easier time adjusting to the Croatian Championship's rule that permits a maximum of two foreign players present on the floor

b ) being a Croatian citizen, Draper would be in much better situation when looking for the possible future job openings in Europe.

Does anyone know of Alan Anderson has the croatian nationality?

What do you guys think about this? Would this be a good situation for the Croatian NT?
#76
I was heard that Anderson will being a Croatian citizen. But i doesn't know if he realy became. As for Draper who knows.

Anderson could help if he puts the team first. He's playing good with Barcelona and I think that he could do the same for Croatian NT. Draper is playing really good in the Adriatic league and in the Eurocup. He could help Croatia a lot on the point guard position. But if this means that the young guys don't get chances than its not a good option to take them to Eurobasket

Damn, i hate that! In WC 2098 we will have first team made of AfroAmericans in Europe teams...
