The new season is finally here! it's gonna be a very interesting season, some teams got weaker while other teams made a huge step forward. will be interesting to see if Turkish teams finally did something right with their money or do they have another season of failures ahead, I think that this time they will have a Final Four team but there's a long season ahead of us so we can't really judge right now.
I hope that Maccabi will start the season with a victory. it seems like we have a tough season ahead of us, the roster looks bad to say the least but Blatt has a roster full of athletic players just like he likes, the dominance of Sofo will be missed, no doubt as this season there's no post-up player we can count on, Blu was a player that can't really be replaced, but Caner-Medley brings some things that Blu didn't. the back court looks pretty weak, Yogev will have to make the step forward and this time there are many expectations from him unlike last season where he surprised with the huge series against Pao, we'll see if he can take the chance and become the team's leader. Logan will get a lot of credit, his role wasn't so big since he left Prokom, I hope he's gonna show some consistency because in the pre-season tournament in Israel he was wonderful. in order for this team to do something serious (and by that I mean risk a f-4 spot) Blatt will need to make some miracles. it will be interesting to see if Shermadini can become the 1st center of a team like Maccabi, how will Landesberg function in EL level and will Hickman do something with the credit he gets because so far he's just terrible. to sum it all up-this year's team is just a huge question mark. now I can only hope that I will get to watch the game
