You named the favourites. I would add France to the list. My favourite team is Croatia because of their style of play.

Probably France or Italy.

Spain always are built up but never perform.

I don`t believe that you will be so lucky again. But considering Greece road to Euro 2008 I should say that they have some chances. I did`t excpect Greece to play so well in their qualifying gruop but they proved me wrong. So we will see...

I'd be surprised if the winner didn't come from the usual suspects, either Germany, Italy, France or Spain. It'd be nice for Spain to win it this time, but if I have to pick a winner I'll say Germany. Outside of them Croatia and Czech Republic are the dark horses. I hope Poland can do something too, because the player Marek Saganowski plays for my team Southampton.

Switzerland 0 - 1 Czech Republic
70' [0 - 1] Vaclav Sverkos

I was reading for my exam and watching the game at the same time {SMILIES_PATH}/blink.gif It will be very difficult for Switzerland to get out of their group now. They had some good chances but couldn't score.

Portugal 2 - 0 Turkey
61' Pepe
90' Raul Meireles

Not much to say about the game. It was more entertaining than the first one. The better team won.

I voted Italy because a few days ago I saw a commercial on TV, it said "When it comes to winning...The Italians are masters".

So yeah.

Austria 0 - 1 Croatia
4' Luka Modric (penalty)

I was surprised by Austria to be honest. They had many opportunities to score especially in the second half.

Lukas Podolski has just scored for Germany. They lead 1-0 against Poland.

Germany won 2-0. Podolski got a brace.

Today Romania play France and Italy play Holland. I'm going for a draw between Romania and France, and an Italian 2-0 win.

Romania 0 - 0 France

A boring game. I was rooting for Romania.

Holland 3 - 0 Italy
26' Ruud van Nistelrooy
31' Wesley Sneijder
79' Giovanni van Bronckhorst

Great game! Who would have though that World Champions will get crushed like that. I hate Italy and I am not a fan of Holland either but I had to choose Holland to support in this game. van Nistelrooy's goal was scored from the offside because Italian defender (was it Zambrotta?) was not playing.

Romania - France one of the worst match i`ve ever seen. I watched just the first half and then turn off the tv. Because it was a waste of time. I was very dissapointed with italy`s result but I am confident they will progress to quarters. I can only say that in taht match italy were very unlucky - so many chances and no goals. And talking about first goal, how could referee didn`t call offside. Panucci was out of the pitch but referee thought that he is playing, I can`t believe it {SMILIES_PATH}/thudown.gif Italy were shocked after that goal and then they`ve got second which made the situation very bad. {SMILIES_PATH}/butcher.gif {SMILIES_PATH}/vinsent.gif
