The first game between the two rivals, is taking place in OAKA on Sunday(20/11)!!!

I think PAO will be the winner, easy or not(I think it will be easy, especially in comparison with the previous years) but a game between PAO and OLY, as we've seen in the past, are always special games because is pretty much a matter, not only of the roster, but of history too.
For example, 5-6 years ago that OLY by the time regular season was ending he was in the 8th place, even then these games were close.
On the other hand, in 2009 for example when both teams were very strong(final 4 semi-final), PAO won a game in OAKA by 27 points!!!

Anything can happen but I think PAO will win easily!!! ;)
We've to be careful though! :)

What's your opinion on the game?

The gap between the teams is the biggest for the past 5 seasons. Panathinaikos will win easily.
Respect and thanks for everything: Alvertis, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Radja, Wilkins, Vrankovic, Fotsis, Rebraca, Kattash, Gentile, Koch, Middleton, Kutluay, Rogers, Papadopoulos, Becirovic, Tomasevic, Siskauskas, Pekovic, Lakovic, Vujanic, Chatzivrettas, Maljkovic, Spanoulis and many more to follow in the near future.

Olympiacos frontline is not enough this year, while the backourt isn't that bad. Olympiacos needs Kirilenko, Kleiza, Batum type of player to fill the gaps of frontline. Without such signing I doubt they will be competitive enough in top 16 this year and off course they won't take it in local area.

This game was just like the one of last year in OAKA... TERRIBLE.

The fact that PAO won for just 4 points it's like a loss to us(PAO fans) but we have many reasons to believe that we'll be ready when it counts the most.
I don't want to start wright down excuses, I just have a bittersweet taste after this game. Hopefully, we'll win in SEF too and we will win the homecourt advantage!

Diamantidis(despite his 7 turnovers) and Vougioukas were the best for PAO! For OLY, Spanoulis and Printezis.

I hope we get better soon!!! :)

Didn't see the game, but a close reslut is a surprise. I expected more from Gecevičius though.

Despite PAO's aweful performance, the 4 points difference is not the real difference between the two teams in this game... :bag:

Tomorrow is the second game between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos, for the regular season, taking place in SEF!

Who's going to win?
Both teams are in a great shape and with great psychology because of their Euroleague wins.
The game will be judged by the defense and I think we will win!!!

Another great game. Panathiaikos came back from -19 and at least covered OAKA's +4 win in the case Olympiacos drops a game in the regular season.

But with at least three shots at SEF remaining, Panathinaikos will win there at least once.

Yes, it take serious skills to lose 17 points difference in the last quarter... Posted Image
