Hellas is playing FYROM, I'm not expecting much of a basketball game from them, but perhaps more of a diplomatic episode instead

Tell a lie tho, putting McCaleb on the team has helped them a lot, with Ilievski and Gecevski pulling a good weight for the team. Still, we should destroy them by +20 at least, if not a whole lot more.

I love the politics of international sports. To make this game more interesting they should give the winner Macedonian naming rights. ;)

Borning predictions. I hope I am wrong about at least one game (and I certainly hope that game is not Lithuania's).

Dude, we're not getting given anything that's ours already ;)

They have an ulterior motive as to why they want to be called plainly 'Macedonians' , thing is, their fans have been hostile against us whenever they were in Alytus, as well as being politically provocative, when Eurobasket is purely about basketball and nothing else. But hey, that's the kind of 'nation' they are, don't expect anything civilized

End of story.

If they start bullshit during our national anthem(like they did in 2009) the organizers should something about it.

Really, is there any Greek in Alytus?! I have seen only one old man...

*I know you can't compare Greece with FYROM in basketball. The thing is that I'm pissed with their behaviour.
You'll see what I'm talking about during Greece's national anthem tomorrow.
If you have seen the 2009 game you already know what I mean...

Finally Israel didn't make it.

Spain had an easy win over Great Britain.

We finally showed some pride and fought, too bad we lost it in the last minutes, it looked like we're gonna win this one.
@led00- true, what Pnini did wasn't the most sportive thing but don't bash him for that.. It wasn't necessary for Ivkovoc to jump on the court after that, not a nice thing what he did but nothing that horrible, it's part of the game there's some tension between players, he did a bad thing he shoul've been punished by the refs, it's not Ivkovic's job.

I'm watching the Latvia vs Italy game. Italy has 5 great players 1 great reserve. Still they have little chemistry, poor defense and NO HEART. Seriously they are a bust. Kudos to the Latvia team. I think Italy is just soft....
