I need a little favour. I want you to name best players in history from each country in Europe. But only players who can go into a discussion about Top 10 or 20 european players in history. My suggestion is you only write players from your own country or country whose basketball history you know well. For example, I don't want you to write players from, I don't know, Iceland if Iceland doesn't have player who could go in top 10 or 20 or even 100.
If somebody names best player from a country, and avoids somebody, you just quote him and add your players. Topic is open for any kind of discussion, for example, you don't consider other one's player so good and you write that.

OK, I will start...

For Israel it's probably Miki Berkovich.
He was probably the most important player in Maccabi that won European championships in 1977 and 1981, in 1979 he lead the Israeli NT to silver medal in the Eurobasket and was the tournament MVP. Also with Maccabi he won 19 Israeli chapmionships and 17 domestic cups.
In 2008 when the Euroleague picked the 50 greatest Euroleague contributors he was picked as one of the 35 greatest all-time players.

I thought you said Top10 or Top20. If it's Top50 then definitely Diamantidis, Papaloukas, Giannakis and Fotsis too.

ok :)

It is not specified what kind of ranking is it.

Just players which you can put in this kind of discussion. For example you won't name Schortsanitis or something like that. In other words, legendary players...

About Big Z we can discuss, but Cosic?!?!?!? He's a legend in croatia. Have you seen his CV? He is a legend in Zadar, BYU (Utah) and Croatia / Yugoslavia. He was drafted by LA Lakers, you know, 1000 years ago when people in USA didn't know what Europe is...
