August 6th- Sofo vs. Israel. This is going to be a rape  We should put Yotam Halperin on Burstien's shoulders and maybe then we'd have a real center..

Who knows... maybe Maccabi signs someone in Nicosia those days... like they did with Sofo. Maybe Zisis?

Well.. You got everything set for something like that to happen. There are rumors about Zisis being a candidate, and from what I heard Blatt really appreciates him as a player from the time he played for him in Italy. And let's not forget, Blatt will be there as his team (Russia) also takes part in this tournament. It does look interesting I must agree. But the one thing that makes it look unlikely to happen is the time.. It's in August, Maccabi likes to close the roster early, both to be better prepared for the season and because it's easier to make steals early before the big spenders aren't as deep in the marker so early.

I don't think Greece and Serbia will be playing against each other in pre-Eurobasket summer tournaments for a while now :P

^Heh heh

Somehow I think a few years will have to pass until this blows over, or until Greece and Serbia face each other in an official match and see if we have flying fists again :rofl3:

Can anyone recommend a good streaming site for Greece's friendly games? I've moved back to the UK now, so will struggle with watching games live :P

Israel went to Cyprus without Casspi (sick), Blu (will join the NT later),Halperin and Bursrtein (both for personal reason). Too bad, I wanted to watch these games and see where the NT is standing but now it's not going to be an indication
