LKL finals starts this Thursday. Two last years Rytas lifted the trophy while this year Žalgiris seems to be the obvious favourite. Hopefully we'll see a good fight, but I hardly see Rytas winning more than 2 games. Prediction: 4:1 for Žalgiris.

Rytas has been disapointing this season and nobody will be expecting anything from them. If I were a betting man Zalgiris would be the natural pick but since I am not, I'll go with Rytas to pull off a "Real Madrid" and savage what looked like a lost season.

With Maskoliūnas as head coach Rytas really improved and I'm fan of Lietuvos Rytas, so I go with it. :)

Entertaining first game! I missed these things. Good atmosphere and good intensity.

Rytas takes a win at home, 1:1. It's a nice final so far. More than I expected. I still see Žalgiris as big favourite, but it's starting to be very interesting.

Now I'm pretty sure Rytas can win this final even if Zalgiris leads 2:1. The idiot does everything that Rytas needs :) Giving little papers to Zouros (congrats Greek fans avoiding puppy Kazlauskas and having this hero :rofl3:), fighting with players, writing bullshit in media. While Rytas has NO PRESSURE on their shoulders, mediocre, but REAL coach and enough talent to beat better team in these circumstances...

Well, I would be happy, because I hate the guy and his bullshit and I want two Lith teams in Euroleague.

Care to think again? Zalgiris gets another easy win over Rytas this season, this time 83-71 away.

Both coaches can't do a shit from these teams. Anyway, I hope Rytas can win in Kaunas just to see more games and to follow my favourite players :)

I was kinda troubled by Zouros comments... if there is a new coach a new rebuilding season will occur...

The team is going into a new era now (being Champs, new arena, financially comfortable owner, good coach and core of Lithuanian players) which could take them one level up, I hope they don't blow it.

Zouros has no autonomy as a coach. I would be surprised that does not disturb him. I agree everything would look positive for Zalgiris except that fact. IMO, smart and independent coach could do big things in Euroleague already this season with this Žalgiris team.
