Although the Spaniards in the end were defeated, they put up a fight where the almost sleep-walking Argentinians almost lost the game that was theirs. Great plays from Fernandez were made, with the culmination of the alley-'oop backward lay-up that was almost a backward dunk. He really seems to have the refs support in faking a shot at the 3, and then getting the jumping defender to land on him, 'blackmailing' the 3 free throws. How many times did he do this in the tournament? At least three times since I watched him

Argentina had an unbelievably comfortable +25 points lead which Spain brought under +10 almost in the blink of an eye!
