Oh well, at least we're fighting for third place. We won the first match in Pilea, although the overall quality of basketball was nothing to rave about
The only interesting players for me were Gecevski, who shows some high basketball IQ everytime I watch him play, although he doesn't really have much of a basketball body. Sloukas had some nice moves (he should deserve to at least work out with the NT I think), although as far as I remember Hrysikopoulos didn't get to play in the first match, I hope for his sake he can start to show signs of maturity like Papanikolaou has (although Pap is lucky to have a coach like Ivkovic believe in him too).

About time justice was served, the top Greek sports judiciary body, ΑΣΕΑΔ, took Ilysiakos's appeal seriously, cancelled the previous Greek basketball league 'decision' and whatever bullshit AEK tried to come up with to avoid falling into the A2 category, and now justly, Ilysiakos remains in the A1 league.
Thankfully, justice has been served

And now the season's standings and points for all teams in the A1 ESAKE league have been confirmed, AEK has been demoted with Iraklis. This followed a fight between AEK's boss, Karamanlis with Ikonomidis the general director. After that fans invaded ESAKE's offices and started causing trouble, luckily which was kept under control with the police being there. Seriously, these a-holes should be banned from playing next season from the A2 league, the same bullshit attitude of fans carries on relentlessly and spiralling out of control, irrespective of what team they fans support
