You must understand that all teams are cutting down. So all teams will have weaker (or seemingly weaker) squads with more local players and unknown foreigners getting more playing time.

I don't see how Blatt can be any worse than Pini next season. Also Maccabi has financial stability, a sold-out season tickets arena and tradition.

It's only a matter of time now...

matter of time till what happens?

and I disagree about the whole cutting down thing...Maccabi never went on a shopping spree..we always had a budget of 19M$..more or less..and they sell every subscriptions they offer..every year so we're pretty stable in the finance dept.
but the reason that Maccabi wants to sign a lot of local players is that the Media just killed Maccabi last year saying that it's an Israeli team and we don't have any Israeli players..so they're crazy about that right now..it's got nothing to do with money

you can sign local players all you want but if they are not good ? you let them play they suck you don't let them play you don't have israeli identity and this is not serbia and not 20 years ago oded katashem don't grow on trees or whatever so the media don't understad that and maccabi gets screwed hate the press

hmm..ok..that's odd
so right now Hendrix and Raduljica are just..name thrown out there? they're not actually close to Maccabi? cause we need at least one more player that can play PF/C(if Macvan is really a done deal)..still no names? ok....

It all will go together as plans, it will be like that:

Perkins, Saras.
Burstein, Limonad, Scheyer.
Eidson, Pnini
Macvan, Kadir, Bluti(?)
Center, Foote.

13 players included Sharp.
7 Israelis+ 6 forieghn.

David Blatt said that we need to bring back the championship, so guess we'll play in the BSL.

What will U do with him?

he's a very good player
and we have so many young players in the team next year(so it seems)we need one player that won't get cold feet at the money time cause he's been there before

He is German Forword, 21, 2.07. Plays as SF and can play as PF.
He is calling "the next Nowitzky".

If he'll signed, it's a long term and will loan next season.

He's 2.12m according to his Eurocamp measurment. The guy is very talented. IMO he could be even better than Vesely.

and obviously inaccurate ;) . just look at the guy. he needs to bulk up for sure, but he doesn't look like he weighs that.

edit: bbl website says 208cm, 95kg
