robbe I didn't know where to post this as it didn't fir the signing/contracts thread so I created this one, but feel free to move it if necessary.

Anyway, in an interview last night Obradovic said that Olympiacos' budget is bigger than the Panathinaikos' one by 8-10m euros.
Respect and thanks for everything: Alvertis, Bodiroga, Jasikevicius, Radja, Wilkins, Vrankovic, Fotsis, Rebraca, Kattash, Gentile, Koch, Middleton, Kutluay, Rogers, Papadopoulos, Becirovic, Tomasevic, Siskauskas, Pekovic, Lakovic, Vujanic, Chatzivrettas, Maljkovic, Spanoulis and many more to follow in the near future.

Thanks for the info. I think a seperate thread for club budgets is justified. How high do you estimate the Panathinaikos budget? 33-35 million?

I really have no idea because we are just at the start of the summer.

Alvertis is out, we don't know what will happen with Chatzivrettas, Sakota and mainly Saras' contract, Kecman is out, Shermandini and Verginis could go on loan. Calathes and Tepic and it is unknown if Obradovic will ask for another big transfer.

Expect to hear news in the coming days...

Obradovic said he will have 12 players + 3 players from the youth team.

ALBA's budget will rather be going a bit down than up. Should be around 7.0mio overall. Only about half or a little less than half of that for playing personell, due to the high taxes and high costs for arena, youth system and other stuff.

Real Madrid's budget will be 28.000.000

Aris' budget was 2.000.000 this season but it will be reduced by a good percentage next season.

2.000.000.

Considering the players they have on their roster, I thought they had about 6 million.

Personally I was shocked when I learned that Mazzon's salary was 140k

So I can't imagine many players getting more than him. They released Gavel paying him 10k as compensation...

Those for 09/10 I know of:

France
ASVEL 7.1mio € [4.1mio € salaries before taxes]
Le Mans 4.9mio €
Orléans 4.5mio €

Germany
ALBA had about 7.5mio € in 08/09, and they said it is stagnant or slightly decreasing in 09/10. So, I'd say 7.0mio-7.5mio €
Oldenburg plans with 6.5mio € for their Euroleague campaign, said a club official.
Bamberg about 5.5mio €
Bonn's club president said they have slightly over 3 million, so I expect it to be at about 3.25mio € maximum, but 800k go into paying the arena which they recently built. Net salary mass was at about 700k € last season.

I read on Ballineurope that ...
Union Olimpija will habe 4.0mio€ overall and 1.5mio€ net(?) salaries next season.

From this thread ...
Real 28mio €
Dynamo Moscow leas than 10mio $

I heard that Aris' budget will be boosted due to Euroleague wildcard. I guess we'll have to wait a bit before we get a reliable new number.

Aris' budget in the 2006-07 season was $15 million dollars. Last season it was cut to around $8 million because they did not play in the Euroleague. The €2 million euros figure is not accurate.

Aris never had such big budgets as $15m. Stop making things up.

Aris board decided to have 1.4m euros budget (only for salaries) for next season, before they got an invite to Euroleague.

They will for sure try to increase it now, but not by a great percentage since they will play in the qualifiers.

Their maximum overall budget will be around 2.5-3m euros.

Stop falsely accusing others of "making things up," a mod should be better than that. Aris budget figures that I gave were correct.

CSKA's budget for next year is $40 million dollars. The club's former President has stated it about 3 times now. Last year it was $57 million dollars according to the former President, so they cut the budget about 30%.

They are posted on interbasket. I don't have the time to find them right now. I've read 3 different ones though. I'm surprised you didn't have that one yet because it's been publicized a lot already.

I'm sure one of the Russian members can find them. They were printed in Russian papers.

1. Anything posted in Interbasket isn't neccesarily true.
2. You say he stated it three times, yet you can't give a link to a single statement
3. You know it was printed in Russian newspaper how? Do you have access to them? do you read them? If you did why can't you give more speisific details? If not, how do you know?

Give us some more budgets and fictional facts please, I just woke up with huge hangover and I am dying for a little laugh.
