Olympiacos eliminate the hosts of the Final 4 PDF Print E-mail

Euroleague Top 16Olympiacos did better than their arch rivals Panathinaikos and advanced to the quarter-finals. They had to win at home against Real Madird, the hosts the final four. Panagiotis Giannakis' men did what they had to and will face CSKA Moscow in the next stage. Arvydas Macijauskas appeared in the 4th quarter and helped his team to make a run.

Both Unicaja and Lottomatica needed to win and expect a loss from Barcelona in order to finish 2nd. Though Barca didn't waste their chance and the win wasn't enough for Unicaja.
