Nikola VujcicA player who became a symbol of the Israeli champions could be playing for a new club next season. Although he was among the most wanted players for a few summers but Maccabi managed to keep him. Terrence Morris is playing well this season and the clubs wants to secure his signature for at least two years and releasing Vujcic could provide that extra money.

Nikola Vujcic is having constant injury problems and he played only in 9 Euroleague games this season. He is averaging 12 points per game while Morris is scoring 12.3 points per game in 19 Euroleague games so far.

If Vujcic leaves the team there should be another Croatian playing for Maccabi. The club is interested in 211cm Croatian center Jure Lalic who is currently playing for Zadar. Lalic was scoring 7 points per game in the ULEB Cup. His stats are similar in the Adriatic League where he's scoring 8.3ppg.
