Euroleague Top 16In a game which was quoted as the game of the week Partizan knocked out the defending champions. Serbian champions finished 2nd in the Group D and will meet Group E winners TAU Ceramica in the quarter-finals. Partizan were ahead 26-17 after the first quarter and never lost the lead. Milt Palacio was the top scorer for the winners with 24 points.

In the other game of the Group D Montepaschi had no troubles defeating Efes Pilsen to take the 1st place. Romain Sato led the Italians with 25 points. They will meet Fenerbahce Ulker in the quarter-finals.

Fenerbahce had everything in their own hands unlike Lietuvos Rytas and Aris. They did what they had and won comfortably against group winners TAU Ceramica. Willie Solomon was once again unstopable as he helped his team to get through among top 8 clubs in Europe.

4th meeting between Aris and Lietuvos Rytas ended with the win of the Greek team. Rytas had a poor second half and could find their ways through a solid Aris' defence. Jeremiah Massey had 28 points and a ranking of 34 which surely puts him among the favourites to take the MVP of the week award.
