Tony Parker will not represent his country in Eurobasket 2009 qualifying games later this year. 2006-2007 NBA Finals MVP also missed Eurobasket 2005 qualifying campaign. Boris Diaw of Phoenix Suns and Ronny Turiaf of Lakers are also in doubt. The club doesn't want Diaw to play after the season ends. While Turiaf's decision depends on wether he has a contract or not.
