  • PDF

In what appears to be a shocking team and contract Demond Mallet signed a 1+1 agreement with the German Eurocup team Artland Dragons today. Mallet even turned down an euroleague offer due to the German team's agressiveness.

Mallet is rumored to be the highest paid player ever in Artland history and one of the highest paid guards in Germany.

Earlier this week, Demond Mallet was named as an inductee into the college McNeese State University Hall of Fame; the same school which produced and inducted former Detroit Piston's star Joe Dumars, a NBA Hall of Famer and NBA Fifty Greatest Player list member.

As a collegiate, Mallet was a NCAA Division I All-American Honorable Mention in 2001 while also being named the Southland Conference Player of the Year. Mallet holds the record at McNeese State University for most consecutive games with a three pointer and most three pointers scored in a season while also ranking within the top 15 players all time in McNeese State University scoring history.

Mallet has won a German Championshp, a German Cup, a Belgium Championship, a Spanish King's Cup, an Israeli Cup, the prestigiuous ULEB Cup trophy and multiple MVP's within his long career in Europe.
