Davis' injury not too serious

Anthony Davis’s injury isn’t as bad as it first appeared. The number 1 pick of the 2012 NBA Draft will attend the national USA Basketball Olympic training camp.

Davis suffered an ankle injury in a New Orleans Hornets workout on Saturday. The first impression was that the young power forward would miss the most of the training camp activities and wouldn’t be in the final roster for the Olympics. However, Davis’ injury didn’t turn out to be too serious, and the former Wildcat is expected to report to the team’s training camp in Las Vegas.

Dwight Howard, Chris Bosh, Lamar Odom and LeMarcus Aldridge have all withdrawn from the national team due to injuries, and the team USA is desperately looking for big men in the paint.
