CSKA Moscow president Andrei Vatutin has announced that the Russian champions will be playing their Euroleague games in the "Megasport" arena as of next season.

The decision to move was taken in order for the club to comply with Euroleague's criteria which will be implemented starting next season, stipulating that any club which wishes to play in the competition must conduct its home games in an arena of 10.000 fans capacity, and upwards.

The "Megasport" arena was built in 2006 and is a multi-purpose venue, but mainly used for hockey matches, with a maximum capacity of 14,500.

On January 23rd, 2008 CSKA hosted TAU Ceramica for a Euroleague regular season game in "Megasport" arena with a massive attendance of 13,000 fans. When transformed for the purposes of a basketball game the arena can hold a maximum of 13,126 fans.
